Obituary

Sandra L. Hardie, age 85, of Sun Prairie, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital.

This is notice of my permanent change of address. I have moved to my Heavenly Home to reunite with my daughter, parents, sister, brothers and many other relatives and loved ones.

God has blessed me richly and I have really enjoyed my incredible life here on earth. I was born to Christian parents and was one of seven siblings. My life was greatly blessed by the gifts of my three precious daughters, Lori Studnicka, Wendy Wittwer and Shelly McLaughlin; two granddaughters, Alexandra Wittwer and Riley McLaughlin; two sons-in-law, Dan Wittwer and John McLaughlin; and foster son, Patrick Lucas.

I enjoyed a career in business management and information technology. I was able to follow my passion for travel. My very favorite travels were with my precious family, especially our annual trips to our condo in Florida. My soul was also enriched and inspired by the splendor of visiting all the U.S. states and 30 international countries.

My passion for the theater was satiated via the Madison Theater Bus Group performances throughout Wisconsin, Illinois and Iowa. During my travels I also had the privilege of attending performances on Broadway, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and Carnegie Hall in New York, the Russian Ballet in St. Petersburg Russia and the new Austrian stage in Vienna.

My opportunities to devote my time to many humanitarian efforts were educational and very fulfilling. I am also very grateful to have been able to share quality time and many adventures with good friends.

Gods' blessings to all, until we meet again!

Dear Wendy, Shelly, @ Families, Sending warm sympathy to each of you in the earthly loss of your Dear Mother & Grandmother. I recall enjoyable times we had together in former days. I remember having an evening meal of a pasta casserole that was so tasty at their home in Madison, also recall Sandy with her family in La Crosse. Hope the many family memories help to ease the sorrow. She was the same age as our Mother was when she passed on. Warmly
