Obituary
LODI - Steven A. Rotzoll, age 79, peacefully passed away with his family at his side on
Monday, November 10, 2025.
He was born on May 9, 1946, in Poynette, Wisconsin, the son of Donald and Elvina (Johnson) Rotzoll. He was baptized, confirmed, and married at First Lutheran Church in Lodi, where he grew up and spent most of his life. Steve was a 1964 graduate of Lodi High School. On January 25, 1969, Steve married Nancy Little in Lodi, Wisconsin. He was employed at Gisholts as a foundry worker and then as a printer for Ad Press in Middleton until retiring. He was a member of Army National Guards; his bags were always packed in case of service.
Steve was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and playing with
his beloved dog Charlie, but loved most of all spending time with his family and always
looked forward to deer camp with his up north friends.
In addition to Nancy, his wife of 56 years, survivors include his sons, Michael (Lisa) and
Todd Rotzoll; his five grandchildren, Taijah (Ryan Wakeman) Washington, Mya Rotzoll,
Aiden Rotzoll, Caleb Rotzoll, and Benjamin Rotzoll; his three great-grandchildren, Treysinn
Trainor, Brooks Wakeman, and Isla Wakeman; sister, Bonnie (Al Karls) Lloyd; many nieces
and nephews and other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Rotzoll.
The family of Steve would like to send a sincere thank you to Agrace Hospice for their
dedication and support.
Burial will be in County Line Cemetery, Countyline Rd., Lodi, on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at 11 am.
A celebration honoring Steve's life will be held at the DANE AMERICAN LEGION POST #503, 124 N. Military Rd. Dane, on Sunday, Nov. 30, 2025 beginning at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, Steven would want you to spend time with your friends and family,
holding your dearest ones close.
