Maureen graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic High School in Oshkosh. She attended UW-Oshkosh, where she met her future husband, Ronald Lambrecht. Maureen earned an associate degree from Northeast Technical College. She married Ronald Lambrecht on December 30 in 1961.
Maureen lived in Green Bay for 50 years. She worked as a medical assistant/secretary for St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, retiring in 1998. In their retirement years, Maureen and Ron spent 30 years as “snowbirds,” spending winters in Fort Myers, Fla., and summers on Loon Lake in Shawano County, Wis.
Maureen enjoyed baking. It brought her joy to share sweet treats with her many family and friends. She stayed active by playing golf, going to the casino, and playing cards. Maureen was also an avid reader and loved shopping. She couldn’t pass up a good deal. She loved visits from her grandchildren and was sure to send them home with fresh baked cookies or bread. We will do our best to recreate her recipes.
