MCFARLAND - Rick J. Segebrecht was born on December 25, 1969, and passed away at home on November 3, 2025.
Rick grew up in Stoughton where he made numerous close friends. His style and charisma were one of kind. He was proud of his agricultural heritage and enjoyed fishing, boating and the outdoors. He often visited garage sales searching for treasures. While not a great golfer, he enjoyed strolls down the fairway with his friends.
Rick apprenticed as a plumber under his father, Roger Segebrecht. After becoming a master plumber, Rick was the president and CEO of Segebrecht Plumbing.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Roger and Carol Segebrecht.
A celebration of Rick’s life will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, at 11 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, with the Rev. Paula Geister-Jones presiding, with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Burial will take place at Prairie Mound Cemetery.
