Obituary
STOUGHTON - It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jeffery Scott Shaub on October 25, 2025. Jeff was born in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on August 3, 1963, the son of Kenneth and Barbara (Fay) Shaub.
Jeff grew up in Northfield, New Jersey, and graduated from Mainland High School in 1981. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1983 and served until 1990. He was stationed at Elmendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska. His time stationed in Alaska was particularly formative; the training he received laid the foundation for his career as an IT Networks Specialist. While there, he developed a love for the state's rugged, beautiful scenery, embracing the adventure and unique experiences it offered. Known for his technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and meticulous approach, Jeffrey was a respected professional who consistently adapted to the ever-changing landscape of technology.
While his career was significant and also one of his hobbies, Jeff found the greatest happiness with his family. He was a devoted husband to Bobbett, sharing years filled with laughter, adventures, and inside jokes. He was also a proud and supportive father to his daughters, Lindsey and Emily, from his first marriage. Jeff’s love of gaming, skiing, traveling, golf, cooking, and music showcased his curiosity and zest for life-he was always eager to try new things, perfect a skill, or simply have a good time.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Bobbett (Rhutasel) Shaub of 21 years; his daughters, Lindsey Shaub and Emily (Tyler) Pataska; his parents, Kenneth and Barbara Shaub; and his sister, Jennifer Shaub.
