Obituary

BROOKLYN - Robert “Monk” Waldron, age 82, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, surrounded by family in his home. Born on April 19, 1943, in Madison, Wis., he was the son of Anna (Moore) Hawkinson and Richard Waldron.


Bob is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Tonya (Mike Quam) Waldron, Tracy (Mike) Alvey, Tony (Judy) Caruso and Ashley Waldron; and daughter-in-law, Brenda Waldron. He also left behind his grandchildren, Cody Foust, Danielle (Dustin) Oler, Chelcie Swenson, Brittany (Hunter) Graham and Olivia Pax; seven great-grandchildren; and Packer buddy, Parker. He was reunited in death with his son, Tim; his parents; and many other loved ones.


In his younger years, Bob liked to shoot pool and play fast pitch softball. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and strumming on his guitar. As an avid fan of the Packers and Cubs, he seldom missed watching a game.


A funeral service will take place at Brooklyn Community United Methodist Church, 201 Church St., Brooklyn, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. A luncheon will follow the service.
