David Arthur Frisch

MIDDLETON - David Frisch, age 82, of Middleton, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025. He was born on November 22, 1942, in Madison, Wis., the son of Louis and Sibylla (Maly) Frisch.

David graduated from Middleton High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army. He worked as a lineman for Mid-Plains Telephone Company for over 35 years.

David was a longtime member of St. Bernard Catholic Church in Middleton. He loved to ice fish and hunt, and he greatly enjoyed his trips to Canada. He was always down for a good game of cards, but most especially euchre. When he wasn’t off on adventures or playing a trick, David could be found outside, taking care of his garden.

David was extremely hard-working and had an admirable work ethic. He did all he could to provide support to his community, and he was always willing to help his neighbors with anything they needed.

David is survived by his sons, Todd (Lori) Frisch, Calvin (Melissa Frisch-Key) Frisch and Dean (Jill) Frisch; grandchildren, Carson Frisch and Ellie Frisch; step-grandchildren, Coogan Rahn, Emma Key and Cameron Key; sister, LaVonne Kadrmas; brothers, Dan (Kathy) Frisch and Mike (Patty) Frisch; sister-in-law, Rosie Frisch; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sibylla and Louis; brothers, Edward Frisch, Don Frisch and Marv (Alice) Frisch; and brother-in-law, Ray Kadrmas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. BERNARD CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7450 University Ave., Middleton, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, with Father Grant Thies presiding. Burial will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery in Ashton. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. until the time of the Mass on Thursday.
