Obituary
FALL RIVER/MADISON - Annette M. Nichols, age 73, of Fall River, passed away from natural causes on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at her home. She was born on October 20, 1951, in Ashland, Wis., the daughter of Walter Johnson and Marian (Stolarzyk) Johnson.
Annette graduated from La Follette High School in 1969. Prior to retirement, she enjoyed a career as a scheduler/receptionist at UW Clinics. In her free time, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Spoiling them with her famous “Netty Surprise!” She always wanted to be at all their events and capture those moments with her photography. She also enjoyed gardening, camping with family, and sewing. She even made her daughter’s wedding dress! She loved Christmas and embraced the spirit of the holiday! She loved animals, even fostering for a Westie rescue.
Annette is survived by her sons, Joshua (Jamie) Nichols, Jeremy Nichols and Jason Nichols; daughters, Stacy (Tim) Pahman and Megan (Brian) TerMaat; nephew, Chris Bach; sisters, Barb Johnson and Mary Bach; grandchildren, Aidan Nichols, Emmaline Nichols, Josephine Nichols, Mina Nichols, Landon TerMaat, Aurora TerMaat, William Pahman and Ian Pahman; and beloved dog, Winston. She was preceded in death by her parents. We will always hold on to our memories, the laughter and love. Forever grateful knowing you’re smiling from above.
We will miss you forever and love you always (and more!). To have you as our mom was pure luck, so we will continue to sing “Hey! Say what? Let’s drive a truck!”
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at QUEEN OF APOSTLES PARISH, ST. DENNIS CHURCH, 505 Dempsey Road, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2025, with Father Michael Resop presiding.
