Doug, Growing up you were a great role model showing me how to be a caring father, husband, and friend. You did so much for us as kids by either by putting in a basketball court and football field in your backyard for us to play, or by taking me to games and practices. I appreciate all you did and the genuine person you were. You will always be remembered.

It was so special to be able to enjoy the many years of playing city league basketball and to have our families join us after at a local restaurant or bar. Don & Michelle Heitzinger

It had been years since I saw Doug. I used to see him quite often due to social circles. I never met a more caring man and genuinely interested in how someone’s else’s life was going. Doug you’re a true pro. I will see you in eternal paradise one. Enjoy reuniting with your loved ones that greeted you home.
