Ruth Arlene Hall

BROOKLYN - Ruth Arlene Hall, age 89, of Brooklyn, passed away on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at her daughter’s home in Arena, Wis.  She was born on February 25, 1936, in Brooklyn, the daughter of Jesse and Hazel (Smith) Lloyd.

Ruth graduated from Brooklyn High School. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Hall on November 3, 1956, in Brooklyn, Wis. Ruth worked as a custodian for Belleville School District for many years and Belleville Methodist church.

Ruth was kind and compassionate and always ready to lend a helping hand to others. She had a deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy. A devoted animal lover, Ruth was known for her generous heart, often welcoming stray or needy animals into her home.

Ruth is survived by her son, Jesse (Shona) Hall, daughter, Ruth Weber, son, Kenneth Hall, and daughter, Mary (Troy) Mckeown; brother, Kenneth Lloyd; 12 grandchildren, Kalaka (Justin) Moss, Ilana (Spencer) Uemura, Blake Weber, Cordell Weber and Ashley Weber, Clarissa McKeown, Kent McKeown, Tyra McKeown, Kylie McKeown, Jesse Hall, Cody Hall, Justin Hall; and great-grandchildren, Hiromi and Kazuo Uemura. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Hazel; husband, Kenneth; son, James Hall; sisters, Roberta Hartwig, JoAnne Nelson, Loretta Lisser and Joyce Lisser; brother, Roger Lloyd; and two infant brothers.

A funeral service will be held at PEOPLE'S UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 103 Alpine Parkway, Oregon, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, November 1, 2025, with Pastor Vicki Brantmeyer presiding. Burial will take place at Prairie Mound Cemetery.  A luncheon will follow the service at church. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
