Obituary
EAGLE RIVER - Elizabeth J. “Beth” Granger, 74, of Eagle River, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was born on August 29, 1951, in Eau Claire, Wis., the daughter of Imbert and Shirley (Hoffman) Eslinger.
Beth and her husband, Roger Granger, were married on March 25, 2011, and spent their golden years together on the waters of the Wisconsin River where they were surrounded by friends, wildlife, and countless happy memories.
Beth was the life of the party. She was classy, generous, and always ready with a smile, a story, and a perfectly applied coat of lipstick (“put a little lipstick on, you’ll be fine,” she’d say). She adored Billy Joel and Tina Turner and never missed a chance to belt out “Proud Mary.” Beth’s home was always open, spotless, and full of laughter. She was endlessly proud of her children and grandchildren and lit up when she talked about them. Her presence filled every room she entered, and her laughter will echo in our hearts forever.
Beth is survived by her husband, Roger; children, Stephanie (Luke) Moore, Katy (Dale) Ripp and Cory (Julia Yates) Kessenich; grandchildren, Bailey Parks-Moore, Finn Moore, Will Moore, Miles Ripp, Madeline Ripp, Dominic Kessenich and Mason Kessenich; sisters, Carol (Mike) Nicholson and Patti (Kim) Lewis; brothers, George (Roberta Ward) Eslinger and Tom Eslinger; sister-in-law, Susan (Al) Nelson; canine companion, Benny; along with many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Mark Eslinger; and nephew, Scott Nicholson.
A celebration of Beth’s life will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2025 where family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and love - just as she would have wanted.
To receive details about the gathering, please email the family at bgrangercelebration@gmail.com for more information.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital or the McFarland Youth Hockey Association Ice Rink Expansion Project. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
