Obituary
OREGON - Donna J. Day, age 95, of Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born on January 6, 1930, in Evansville, the daughter of Joseph and Esther (Pritchard) Scalissi.
Donna graduated from Madison East High School. She lovingly raised her family and also provided in home day care. Later, Donna began working for the State of Wisconsin, where she retired in the ‘90s and made many lasting friendships. Donna was content with simple things in life and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Donna is survived by her daughter, Gale Demro; sons, Chris Demro and Danne Demro; sister, Sandra Sletten; and step-daughter, Judy (Jeremy) Day-Foley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Esther; husband, Clifford Day; daughter, Nikki Demro; son, Scott Demro; and two brothers, Kenneth Kolstad and James Kolstad.
