Joan was my "second mom" all through middle and high school. She was always willing to sit and converse with the young people in and out of her welcoming home. She was interesting, caring, and genuinely interested in the lives of those around her. This is a huge loss, but I hope she is at peace and reunited with her beloved Jennifer.
