Gladys was one of the most warm-hearted person you’ll ever meet. I first met her when I was considering bringing home one of her Shibas. She loved her dogs and they loved her. She loved to laugh and was always empathetic and comforting with anything I was going through in life. We attended many dog events and concerts over the years together. She became a Grandmother to me and I will miss her tremendously.

I was introduced to Gladys through a mutual friend when I was looking to adopt a Shiba Inu. Gladys was looking to rehome her stud, Malachi. However, having just lost my previous dog to cancer, I wasn’t looking for an older dog, but rather a puppy. Gladys had two pups at the time, one of which was, Fiona (Malachi’s last pup). After multiple meet and greets (and maybe a little persuasion from me lol), Gladys agreed to let me adopt both Malachi and Fiona (now Akari). It wasn’t long after, that we became friends. Even though I did not know her for very long (~6 years), she has made a lasting impression on me and she holds a very special place in my heart. I will miss her deeply; the Fast Cats we did together, our conversations, and her advice on anything dog related. I am forever grateful to her for trusting me with two of her pups. They are the loves of my life (my husband too) and bring me so much joy. Thank you Gladys for your friendship and support. Until we meet again. Love Always.
