Obituary
MADISON - Jerry Lee Garske, age 77, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Cottages of Madison. He was born on June 24, 1948, in Madison, the son of Norman and Patricia (Van Etten) Garske.
Jerry grew up in Madison and attended Madison East High School. He worked for Wisco Industries and Sub Zero for many years, then in the siding/roofing industry for many years.
Jerry lived the life of a Rolling Stone, on his own terms. He enjoyed the simple things and wanted to leave a minimal imprint when he left. Jerry enjoyed reminiscing of his days as a C.C. Rider and hitting the open road on his Honda Goldwing. He enjoyed dancing, listening to "The Oldies" and cheering on the Packers and Badgers.
Jerry is survived by his daughters, Heather (Guy) Sullivan and Lyndsay (Johnnie McGahee) Garske; son, Patrick Slater and daughter, Katrina Tremaine; six grandchildren, Jade LeBeau, Jordan McGahee, Lily McGahee, Aubree Tremaine and Clayton Tremaine and Charlie Sellers-Slater; brother, Timothy (Julie) Garske; sister, Patricia (David) Knudtson; and brother-in-law, Bill Morgan. He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Patricia; brothers, Roger Garske and Michael Garske; and sister, Sandra Morgan.
In keeping with Jerry's wishes, no services will be held. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Brighton Hospice, especially Taylor and Allison.
