Obituary

MADISON - Van Ung, age 89, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Agrace HospiceCare. She was born on February 2, 1936, in Vietnam, the daughter of Trinh Luyen and Tran Thi Hang.


Van is survived by her husband, Sen Tran; six children; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Lai Tran.


A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON FITCHBURG FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 2950 Chapel Valley Road, Fitchburg, at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Visitation will follow at the funeral home from 11:30 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Burial will be held at Resurrection Cemetery.
