Obituary

LODI - Paul John Dorn, age 86, of Lodi, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born on May 3, 1939, in Waunakee, the son of Edward and Gertrude (Meurer) Dorn.


Paul was the youngest born into a family with 12 children.  While attending high school he joined the United States Army, proudly serving until his discharge. Paul then returned to Waunakee and married Patsy M. McIntyre in 1960.


Paul was a construction worker and was a member of the Labors Union No. 464 for 63 years. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting and fishing, and he was often out in the garden. Most of all, he loved spending time with his large family.


Paul is survived by his daughters, Paula Dorn, Patricia Dorn and Phillis Werning; sons, Paul (Dana) Dorn and Perry (Kellie) Dorn; grandchildren, Mareta and Paul, Joseph and Jeromey, Jonathon and Chelsea, Cody, Tabitha, Josie and Breanna, Ashley and George; Grant, Klay and Kole; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy in 2000; grandson, Justin; parents and his 12 siblings.


In keeping with Paul's wishes, no services will be held.

The Dorn family lived by us on Patton road. I remember babysitting for Pat & Pauly. Thinking of all of you at this time. Peace & Love
