Obituary

MOUNT HOREB - Robyn Marie Gondek, age 60, of Mount Horeb, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at UW Hospital and Clinics. She was born on April 23, 1965, in Plainville, Conn., the daughter of Robert Gondek Sr. and Donna (Royce) Lumbra.

Robyn was a dedicated bus driver who worked for the Verona Area School District, First Student, and also while living in Connecticut. She had a passion for what she did.

Robyn had a deep love for animals and shared her life with many - from parrots to farm animals to dogs. She especially enjoyed training her Australian Shepherds to be great companions. Robyn was also known for her devotion to family and moved to Wisconsin to care for her mother. She attended many sporting and performing arts events and made it a priority to be present and supportive in the lives of those she loved. Loyal and dependable, Robyn could always be counted on to show up for others in every way she could.

Robyn is survived by her parents, Donna and Robert; sister, Charlene Royce; nieces, Krystal (Andrew) Lonsdale, Keeana (Trevor) Gondek and Tiffany Wheeler; nephew, Zachary Gondek; great-nephews, Donovan Lonsdale, Julien Dreher and Landon Byers; and great-nieces, Bridget Lonsdale, Remmiah Gondek and Londyn Byers. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, James Lumbra; brother, Robert Gondek Jr.; cousins, Michael St. Pierre and Byron Treado; and great-niece, Ruby Byers.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com.
