I’m thankful for the countless memories I carry. My cousin Lorie was an ace of a human being, and every memory brings a smile. I feel so lucky to have shared so many good times with him. Holding his family and friends close in love and peace.

I met and worked with Lori during the Grand Mountain Bank days. His Christian beliefs showed through everything that he did in life. I will always remember him as a kind and caring individual full of God's love.

Lorie and Ann were the first couple Marie and I met when we moved to the Fraser River Valley in Colorado. We admired the home they built and knocked on their door for advice about building our place in the valley. For the next twenty plus years we enjoyed each other's company playing Euchre, Poker, golf, skiing and participating in Lions Club activities. Our upbringing in Michigan was a common connection with Ann. Lorie always had a smile and stood ready to help others. Lorie was a good human being. We were fortunate to share our lives while he was here. If people meet in the beyond then Lorie and Marie are having a good time together. Bob Johannes

Lorie was very excited to have a bocce ball court. Our Euchre group spent many fun afternoon's there with Ann and Lorie followed by wonderful chat filled dinners at their dining room table. And, we learned to not let the dogs run out the front door when we entered the house or we'd lose Lorie as he hunted down the run away. Being with Lorie and Ann was fun.
