Obituary

CROSS PLAINS - Jennifer “Jenny” Zabrowski passed away peacefully to her eternal home on July 31, 2025.

Born Jennifer Ann Zabrowski on September 29, 1963, to her parents Ernest and Trudy Zabrowski, Jenny was the youngest of six children and their only daughter. Jenny was raised in West Allis, Wis., moving to Madison in her later years to be near her brothers, Christopher and Thomas, both of whom she shared a very special bond with and who lovingly cared for her till her passing. Jenny loved the social life she created in Madison, especially the time spent at her brother Tom’s bar, “Morgan’s”. It became her home away from home and she thrived on the deep friendships built there. She felt accepted and full of joy, and those were some of the happiest days and times of her life.

In her earlier years, Jenny loved spending time with her mom and five brothers on trips to the family Christmas tree farm in Wautoma, Wis. Those were special times for her and one of her favorite places to be. Jenny loved Mexican food and margaritas, her Sunday cocktails, a good slot machine and especially her scratch off tickets and pull-tabs that she had uncanny luck at. She loved a good joke and loved to laugh. She also liked to spend time on her iPad and Facebook, both of which opened up a whole new world for her.

Jenny had an unwavering Faith in God and was a shining light despite the challenges she faced in life without complaint. She will always be remembered for her sweet heart, her easy-going style and her kind-hearted and gentle ways. Though her passing has left a void in the hearts of all who loved her, she will continue to inspire us to be content and enjoy the simple things in life.

Jenny is survived by her three loving brothers, Timothy (Barb), Thomas and Jack (Maureen); sister-in-law, Molly; along with a host of family and friends. She is also preceded in death by loving brothers, Patrick and Christopher; as well as her parents, Ernest and Trudy.

Jenny was a caring woman. She would acknowledge and appreciate my messages. I know she'll find Yeshua in Heaven, where she belongs, with Chris and Mrs. "Z."

Jenny was a bright light that will shine on even after her passing. She loved Jesus. Her family. And friends. She was the first to offer an encouraging word and it was almost like she didnt live this life for herself, but others. May Jenny's bright light keep burning through us as we remember her by being as kind as she was 🩷
