Obituary

MADISON - Brett C. Haise, age 62, of Madison, passed away at his home with his children by his side on July 22, 2025. He was born on October 11, 1962, in Milwaukee, the son of Fredric and Joan (Zabel) Haise. He married Sandra Swatek on May 13, 1989. Brett graduated from Madison East High School in 1980. He worked for Oscar Mayer, retiring in 2017. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf, pool and loved to grill.  


Brett is survived by his daughter, Amanda (Troy) Haimowitz; son, Garrett (Samantha) Haise; grandchildren, Shane and Tyler Haimowitz and Harrison Haise; mother, Joan Haise; sister, Kari (Bruce) Campbell; brother, Kyle (Jenny) Haise; sister-in-law, Susan (Brian) Thompson; many nieces, nephews and other friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Rick; wife, Sandra; and father and mother-in-law, David and Alice Swatek.


A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025, with the Rev. Jeff Vanden Heuvel presiding. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.
