Obituary

VERONA - Michael Kevin Neveu, 67, died peacefully on Sunday, July 20, 2025. He was born on October 2, 1957, in Green Bay, Wis. After graduating high school, Mike earned his bachelor's degree in Nuclear Engineering from UW- Madison. After a long and varied career, he retired from Swiss Colony as a Systems Analyst in 2015.

Mike was an avid sports fan, having been a season ticket holder with the Green Bay Packers for many years, he rarely missed a home game. When football season ended, you could often find Mike on the golf course in one of the many leagues he participated in. Always intellectual and curious, Mike also took pleasure in auditing classes at UW-Madison in subjects as diverse as Geology, Astronomy and Computer History. Mike enjoyed spending time with family and never missed a chance to join them when dining out. Most of all, he enjoyed the annual family fireworks display and had as much fun creating a dazzling display as the rest.

Mike was a loyal friend to a great many people and maintained friendships with people from nearly every era of his life, from grade school to college and beyond.

Mike is survived by his brothers, Rick Neveu and Jeff (Ginger) Neveu; niece, Michelle (Shawn) Anglemyer; cousins, Judy Thibaudeau, Greg and Missy Thibaudeau; and his best friend since first grade, Kip Pelegrin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Mercedes Neveu.

I knew Mike from growing up. His house was in my backyard. I have a picture somewhere of Mike and I in a playpen. We played in the sandbox and hung out until it was just not cool to hang out together anymore. Mike was fun. I have fond memories of Mike and his family!! May Mike rest in peace!!
