MOUNT HOREB - Sheila Joy Helland, age 80, of Mount Horeb, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Ingleside Manor. She was born on December 29, 1945, in Madison, Wis., the daughter of Glenn and Joyce (Disch) Helland.
Sheila enjoyed doing embroidery and painting ceramics. She loved horses, and at one time she had 21 of them. She collected anything that had to do with horses. She enjoyed playing “Shut the Box” with her sister and brother-in-law.
Sheila is survived by her sister, Greta Duerst (Dewey); brother, Phil Helland (Trish); and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marlene Bridges; brother, Craig Helland; and nephews, Adam and Chad Helland and Tim Duerst.
