I was only ever met Gloria virtually but her sweet curious personality was obviously even from our very short video chats. May her memory be a blessing.

I have known Gloria for 23 years. I joined Madison Doll Club 23 years ago. She had so many presentations over the years, sharing her wonderful dolls and her knowledge . Learned a lot from her . She invited us to her house on several occasions so we could see her dolls. Her house is so wonderful . We all wanted to come and live with her ! We will sure miss her at the club meetings. It was wonderful that she was one of the founders of doll club in 1966. Her children were so lucky to have such a wonderful mom! RIP sweet lady!

I have known ( Gloria) aka Mrs.Laundrie for about 60 years. Growing up next to her family on Tompkins Dr. during the 60's...70's was a daily adventure with her brood and my family. Our combined army of young kids interacted daily to learn growing up, building relationships and having fun from lunch till dinner. I know Michelle and Jon will recall some great times. Gloria was a powerful influence with us all, as was her husband Jim. Some people don't recall those kinda days like I do. Their loss. Thanks for the memory's.

I met Gloria through the doll club, and she was always sweet and kind and very enthusiastic about Kathe Kruse dolls. I really enjoyed our most recent talk about the doll show. Gloria will be dearly missed.

I remember as a child hearing Mrs. Laundrie call the names of various sons to come home for dinner, as I rode my bike down Tompkins Drive. I remember her coming to our house for bridge nights or holiday parties. I thought she just sparkled - so beautiful and stylish and full of life. Years later she handmade and mailed to me two dolls for my first kids, Jonathan and Maggie. Her spirit will certainly live on. - Nancy Koster Martin
