I had the great pleasure of working with Tom at the Bureau of Developmental Disabilities Services. Tom’s excellence and creativity in our work was matched by only by his great heart and uniquely wonderful sense of humor. He was our Bureau Philosopher, and could always be relied upon to the break the tension that would sometimes arise among our passionate herd of cats, with a simple, off the wall comment of one kind or another, sending us into hilarity, bringing us back to what we needed to do together. He was our MVP.
