I remember Ellen as the best pie maker. When there was a family get together. You could always be sure that Ellen would bring one of her pies. She was a great conversationalist and I enjoyed visiting with her. May heaven greet her with open arms. Sonny and Linda Swangstu

I worked with Ellen when American Girl employees were contract employees at John Deere Credit. She was a delight to work with and always welcomed the AG people back the few years we were there. My condolences to her family. I am grateful to have known her. Linda Gerke

I met Ellen in 1986, when I began working for Farm Plan Corp, which a for years later became John Deere Credit. She was one of the lunch crew each day Monday thru Friday. She was a very gentle, kind, warmhearted person I ever knew. Our core lunch group was Harriet Payne, Helen Ballweg, Kathy Russell, Ellen Bratz. All now who've are now gone. I worked with Ellen until she retired from John Deere. She adored her Brother's two daughters. We enjoyed hearing of their school days from Ellen. She was a great friend and we still met for lunch at Stoughton's Calvers. I will miss her always. Now Dear Ellen may you be enjoying our wonderful Lord and Saviour in Paradise.
