Steven A Dodge

CROSS PLAINS - Steven Alan Dodge, age 78, of Cross Plains, passed away on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Waunakee Valley Senior Living. He was born on September 22, 1946, in West Bend, Wis., the son of Edwin and Marcylenne (Fowler) Dodge.

Steven graduated from Middleton High School in 1964. He married Joanne Petro Dodge on July 5, 1969, in Los Angeles, Calif. Out of high school Steve joined the U.S. Air Force and then worked as an aircraft mechanic for the Air National Guard for 30 years.  

Steve and Joanne enjoyed camping and traveling with friends for many years and meeting up with all of their Air Guard friends at Club LaMark on Wednesday. He enjoying watching his grandchildren in their activities.

Steven is survived by his wife, Joanne; daughters, Nicole (Mike) Tschanz and Stacey (Reymundo) Nevarez; grandsons, Brody Tschanz, Cameron Tschanz, Christopher Nevarez, Luis Nevarez and Gabriel Nevarez; brother, Dick (Helga) Dodge; and sister, Paige Paar. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON CROSS PLAINS FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 2421 Church St., Cross Plains, at 12 noon on Friday, June 6, 2025. Burial will take place at St. Martins Catholic Cemetery - Martinsville. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
