We are deeply sorry for your loss ~ Gunderson Funeral Home - Madison

I am so sorry to read of Karen's passing. We were friends from sixth grade through high school and beyond, and she was a bridesmaid in our wedding. Although we loss touch through various moves, I have fond memories of hanging out at the Herro home during our younger years. I know she was very highly regarded for her support and contributions within the Madison mental health community. Many benefited from her kindness, empathy, and leadership. My deepest sympathies to her family. May she rest in peace alongside her parents.

I'll miss Karen at Cornucopia greatly and all she brought to everyone there. She was a fierce, proud woman who was greatly admired!

I was the lucky recipient of Karen’s artwork every Christmas. As I recall, all were of cats. Heartfelt condolences to Diane, David, Sandy, Ginny, Heather, Adam, and family on your loss. I feel sure my mom gave her a big hug when she walked through the gates of heaven.
