Obituary

OREGON - Michael Scott Wiswell, age 61, of Oregon, passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2025. He was born on May 20, 1964, in Madison, the son of Donald and Violet (Taylor) Wiswell.


Mike graduated from Monona Grove School and then attended MATC.  After working for the City of Madison, Department of Transportation for over 20 years, he found interest in financial planning. Mike had his own firm “Wiswell and Associates” under the umbrella of Gradient Securities in Arden Hills, Minn.

He was a talented craftsman and liked to build and fix his own things.


Mike loved being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and riding his bike around Lake Monona with his dog. He enjoyed golfing, and played twice a week at the Evansville Country Club for years.


Mike is survived by his partner, Rhonda Hasz; and brother, Steven Wiswell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Violet and Donald.


A celebration of life will be held at the EVANSVILLE COUNTRY CLUB, 8501 N. Cemetery Rd., Evansville, Wis., from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025.
