MONONA - Aaron John Rottiger, age 41, of Monona, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born in Madison on February 4, 1984, the son of Daniel Rottiger and Elizabeth (Orella) Orella. He graduated from Madison West High School in 2002.
Aaron had a genuine love for life’s simple pleasures-being outdoors, casting a line into a quiet stream, cooking a good meal, or cheering on his favorite team at a game with friends by his side. Those who knew him will remember the warmth of his spirit, his laughter, and the way he brought people together. Though he faced difficult challenges, they don’t define the man he was. We’ll remember him for his heart, his loyalty, and the moments that made life brighter just by having him there. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
Aaron is survived by his mother, Liz (Tim Reiland) Orella; father, Daniel Rottiger; brother, Peder (Bredna Lago) Rottiger and Larry Davis; stepbrothers Trent Rottiger, Tyler Rottiger, and Trevor Rottiger; grandmother, Mary Jo Bonner; and uncle, Jack (Mary) Orella. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John Orella, and step-grandfather, Ken Bonner.
A memorial service will be held at SALVATORE’S PIZZA, 5507 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2025, followed by a luncheon at 12 noon. Visitation will be held at Salvatore’s from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
