Obituary

BLACK EARTH - David W. Glessing, age 70, of Black Earth, formerly of Lake Geneva, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025. He was born on December 12, 1954, in Rice Lake, Wis., the son of Norbert and Clarice (Gonyer) Glessing.


Dave married Cynthia (Volp) Glessing on June 19, 1976. He retired as an assembler from Milwaukee Valve.


Dave is survived by his wife, Cynthia; sons, Jacob "Jake" and Jeffrey “Jeff” Glessing; daughter, Cheri (Austin) Keay; brothers, Michael and Donald; half-brother, Albert Glessing; and half-sister, Rebecca Sanders. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Steven and Jeffery Glessing; and half-brother, Edwin Sanders.


Join us in a Celebration of Life at BLACK EARTH COMMUNITY PARK, 914 Park St., Black Earth, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
