Leslie & Jeremy, I am so sorry to hear about William’s passing. He was such a beautiful, fun little guy with a wonderful sense of humor. His kindness toward others was always so touching. I’ll always remember our walks—he proudly took on the role of “card holder,” clipping the emergency cards to his belt loop like it was the most important job in the world. And I’ll never forget the day he walked into the kitchen while I was making lunch, looked at me with so much love, and said, “What’s in the pot today, Steph?” He will be forever missed. My heart is with you both. Love you William, -Steph

What can I say about William? He had a kind soul. A disarming smile and charm that was way beyond his years. I remember going to Bailey’s birthday party at Nick and Katie’s house. I had injured my back and needed a can of pop from the cooler in the back of the garage. William took my hand and held it to make sure I got there ok. He grabbed my soda and held my hand until he returned me safely to my chair. I didn’t ask him to help. I only mentioned that I wanted a drink. That was William. Always kind and always in tune to the needs of others. He was an amazing boy and the world is a lesser place without him in it.. Calm waters and full sails little buddy. You can travel anywhere in the universe now. If I know you, it will be on a gleaming, celestial garbage truck. Ellyn
