I was maybe five or six years old when we stood in Lynn and Jim’s kitchen and she showed me the proper way to eat a piece of watermelon. You cut a bite sized chunk of it off. You put salt on it and slurp it out of your fingers in one fell swoop. I remember thinking: salt? On fruit? On watermelon? Then, over the last fourth some odd years, every time I saw someone put salt on a piece of fruit, my brain would replay that in my head like a movie. That is my most favorite memory of Lynn. I never saw her mad at anything. My sweet sister-in-law. Sending love….

The last thing I would have ever thought would happen has. One of the finest people to ever walk the face of the earth has gone home. I remember when Becky was born, leaving the desert to come see my new niece and never being treated with so much grace and respect. Lynn, you are and always will be missed. I hope you James are doing well. I can tell you that the broken heart you have, is a testament to what you two shared throughout your lives together. It's the one thing that will be everlasting and true. I do love you James. You have been a wonderful brother. If you're ever in New York, stop by my dear brother. Charles Lambert Jr.
