Obituary

MONONA - Todd R. Seiberlich, age 57, of Monona, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Beloit Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 28, 1967, the son of Dick and Nell (Becker) Seiberlich.


Todd attended Monona schools and graduated from Monona Grove High School in 1986. He was employed by Menard’s as a commercial contractor and accounts manager. Todd was the employee that the customers sought out to help with their purchases and selections. He humbly received the Outstanding Employee Award. Later he worked at Uniek, and most recently Playcon.


Todd could be very cantankerous and yet a super bro to his brothers. His life had its ups and downs, especially having to go through dialysis, having a heart attack and other medical conditions. His family faithfully visited him while Todd received therapy in Black Earth and Beloit. Todd will fondly be remembered for lunch dates with his dad, that consisted of him bringing them tacos, cheeseburgers or a fish sandwich from Culvers. And of course, there was always interesting conversation, and he was always right.


Todd had many great memories of his trips to his uncle Dave’s place, including hiking and snow shoeing in the snow-covered mountains of Olympia, Wash.


Todd will be missed by his father, Dick; brothers, Tim (Paula) Seiberlich and Tedd (Heather) Seiberlich; niece, Karen (Geno) Hilgers; nephew, Hayden Seiberlich; great-niece and great-nephew, Olivia and Luka Hilgers; uncle and aunt, Phil and Joan Becker; and his cousins, Andy and Mike Becker, and Whitney Seiberlich. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nell; maternal grandparents, Oliver and Marge Becker; paternal grandparents, Ray and Jenny Seiberlich; and uncle, Dave Seiberlich.


A celebration of life will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Monday, April 21, 2025. Private family entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Very sorry to read of Todd’s passing. I ran into Todd only once since high school during a friendly encounter at Menards in Monona many years ago. Todd was discerningly humble, the way we all should be. I’m certain he fully deserved that Outstanding Employee Award. I will always remember the day the Seiberlich’s moved into our Monona neighborhood. Things got fun and interesting from that point forward.
