Terry M Hansen

MADISON - Terry Milton Hansen, age 71, of Madison, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. He was born on March 10, 1954, in Madison, the son of Milton and Kathryn (Stubbs) Hansen.

Terry graduated from Frankfurt American High School in Frankfurt, Germany. After graduation, Terry enlisted in the U.S. Army. He was filled with pride in serving his country. Once returning home from his duties, Terry worked several jobs, until finding his home at the University of Wisconsin in the mail delivery department, until his retirement.

Terry enjoyed a good conversation, telling his stories of the days in Germany. His memory for detail was impeccable. He enjoyed spending summers at “Camp” in Crooked River, where he met many lifelong friends and was fondly known as Mr. Wobbles. Terry was passionate about the Packers and the Brewers, but most importantly he loved a good cook out, an ice-cold beer and the camaraderie around the roar of a campfire.

Terry is survived by his brothers, Timothy (Janice) Hansen and Duane Hansen; sister, Cynthia (Thom) Holden; and his best buddy, Gary (Lisa) Frey. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kathryn and Milton.
