My memories of Mike came to a very simple description of the man best noted for his “kindness”. A true “warm fuzzy” shared with all those in his family and community.

Sarah is my sister-in-law. After getting to know her, Charles, Mike and Kay I became convinced that people from Wisconsin are better than the rest of us (prove me wrong, I doubt you can). I wish I’d known he was interested in maps, it would have been fun to see his collection and talk about those places. When Sarah told me Mike passed my first thought was ‘He was basically the dictionary definition of a nice man.” Our country and our world could use more men like Mike, and now we have one less. I’ll try to level up my game some in his memory. Chris Buhl

I am so sorry for your loss. I truly loved Mike and Kay. They made me feel like a part of the family and I loved watching Charlie and Sarah grow up. I would see Mike a few times in Stoughton and I always got a huge hug and a beautiful smile from him. I have so many wonderful memories of your parents. Much love, Sara(Halverson)Gill.
