Russ was a wonderful friend for over 50 years, meeting at Bashford UMC. He built many things for us at church and I have many things he gave me over the years. I would pick berries for him and then we'd sit in the garage and solve all the problems of the world. He'd call me on the phone and I was amazed at his memory for being 103. I will miss our phone visits, but I know God finally fulfilled his wish to be with Pat. They
were lovely people and I will cherish my
memories of both of them. Carol Jacobson

Russell was a wonderful person! I am fortunate to have a table and a book case that he made! They are absolutely gorgeous. He made it a point to visit my parents often, until he could no longer make the trip! He will be missed by all😞

Russell was the sweetest backyard neighbor. My husband and I only knew him for a short while but we loved his attitude, sense of humor, and stories! He always shared his vegetables from his garden and offered kindness in all interactions. Russell was gracious enough to show us around his home, some of his wood working, and memorabilia from his military days. Such a nice man with wonderful history and a great life!
