“A Father’s Love”

He gave us his time, his strength, and his heart - always putting us first. His greatest pride was being our dad, and his greatest joy was watching us grow.

He cheered our successes, lifted us in hard times, and taught us what love truly means. Though he’s no longer with us, his presence lives on - in our memories, our values, and the love we share.

I have been involved with Don and the family since I was 8. Our families did camping trips, and rafting trips, and I was with the kids growing up and Don has always been part of my life. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. I wish I could be there with the family at the memorial service, but coming from California just isn't going to be possible at this time. My thoughts and love goes out to all the Furniss Clan. I love you all.

Don was my nextdoor neighbor. I often chatted him up when I saw him walking his dog Ruby when I was in the front yard. I admired how he was out with her all around the neighborhood half a dozen times a day in all kinds of weather. So sad when he lost her. A sweet man... Condolences to the family.
