Dear family, With sadness I learn about the death of Jim, my 'one-year-father' during my exchange year in 1976-1977. I have nice memories of you all and hope to see each other again. Dear Jean, Gail, Amy, Meg and Janet, I wish you all a lot of strength. I learn you all have children and I'm glad they had their grandfather so long in their lives. Please contact me if you like. So sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I have lost touch with Jim and Jean except for the annual Christmas care (which was returned to me this year via USPS). Jim and I worked together for many years in the fire protection field, some of the time as competitors and also as partners helping our clients prevent/minimize loss. Jim was very knowledgeable, caring and straight forward in his work and life. It was an honor knowing and working with Jim and share my condolences with his family.
