Amy C. Chen

I an so saddened to learn of Amy’s passing! I had the honor to work with her for decades at the Wisconsin DMV. When she first started working there, I was her lead worker. Every day of her career she gave every ounce of effort and focus to her work. She was so thoughtful and kind to everyone; coworkers and customers. She was very dedicated and dependable. I also saw her as being very brave, and had much admiration for her, but sadly I don’t think she agreed with me. As friends, we exchanged birthday cards and small gifts for decades. I treasure some of the little things she gave me over the years. Amy was deeply bonded to her family. Most of us could learn something from her about dedication to all generations. My deepest sympathy to her family! I feel that the world has lost a very special person, and I have lost an esteemed friend.
