I am so sorry to hear of Darlene's passing…I always looked forward to seeing her along with the “Auction Gals” when we met for lunch - - It won’t be the same now..I’ll miss her and her laugh…To Jim and her family my condolences…Fly high Darlene ..Maybe you & Ron can find an Auction in that land far away…We’ll meet again…

Darlene was also a joy to talk to. She was my mother in law’s neighbor so I always saw her at our annual garage sale. I would buy stuff at her sale and she always bought something at our sale. I will miss her.

I am so sorry about Darlene. I can see her sitting on her front porch saying come on over and sit down. Always read to visit a minute. Who ever is sick she would want to know how they are doing. Which is a real comfort. We would compare gardens, flowers you name it. We would compare our children, from little on. We would have garage sales and she would send people over by me and I would send them over by her. She was a good motivator. We will for sure miss her. Mary Virnig

Grandma Darlene was progressive in her thinking and acceptance of all people. She was very open minded and never let borders of her small town limit the boundaries of her mind. Just because you're old, doesn't mean you have to think like you are. I find this very inspiring! RIP X0

Darlene was a wonderful neighbor, I truly enjoyed many conversations with her when the weather was nice and we would be out in our yards, she will definitely be missed, sending my heartfelt condolences to Jim and his family. Rest in peace Darlene 🙏
