I had the privilege of knowing Toby and his wife and John and Jessica as well dating back to Duluth and then to La Crosse and Madison. John was an amazing, talented broadcast engineer and helped me so much as a manager of properties in La Crosse, Oshkosh, and Fox valley stations. Blessings to Jessica and the families with great love and respect. Bill Mann and the Rittman family.

I will never be able to view another broadcast tower again without thinking of the many memories John made during my career. Not only a fantasic engineer, but a wonderful man who is truly missed. Enjoyed working with "J.B." & even more, the occasional lunch break card games we'd have in the Engineer's Office behind the 1480 transmitter on Syene Road. My condolences to Jessica, Scott, Kate, Kim & your families.
