So glad we had the opportunity to meet you! We so much enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July with you. Can't believe you actually ate that spicy Italian sausage sandwich. And your scalloped potatoes were fantastic. Tom & Denice Lash

I'm so grateful we were able to spend one more Christmas together. It’s hard being so far away, and I’m saddened by how quickly your condition changed after I left. But I’m grateful for the time we had. When I arrived for the holidays, you were in the hospital, but I’ll never forget how eager and excited you were to get home so you could make fudge and Christmas cookies. That moment perfectly captured your warmth and determination. Thank you for your love and kindness. You could be tough but full of love, and I always admired that about you. I hope you’re resting peacefully now. I love you and miss you. Love -Mike

I’m glad we got to spend one more Christmas all together. Every trip to Wisconsin always felt like coming home for Christmas, where the ground was covered is snow and we would come together inside to get warm and cozy, preparing dishes, and hanging out in the living room. I’m grateful for all the time we had and the memories we shared. You had such a playful soul and a comedic side to you. You were always so cheerful and fun, cracking light hearted jokes with us and making every moment more enjoyable. I remember how you would help my brother and I slip away to go play games in the arcade or go with us into another store while we were out at the mall. You could always tell we wanted to do something else and you would always make sure we were having fun. If anything caught our interest, you made sure we went to go check it out even if it was just the three of us. Thank you for always being so kind, loving, and cheerful all the time. You were tough and always defended my brother and I from getting in trouble with mom whenever the three of us would go off on our own. I’m glad you’re no longer in pain and I hope you can rest peacefully now. I love you and miss you grandma. -Alex
