MIDDLETON - Gillian Francis “Gil” Grover, age 76, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025. She was born on August 7, 1948, in Reedsburg, the daughter of Gilbert and Jean (Roloff) Westerman.
Gil graduated from Webb High School in Reedsburg, Wis. in 1966. She then went on to graduate from Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing in Milwaukee, Wis. in 1969. She married Richard Grover on April 26, 1969, in Reedsburg.
Gil worked as an RN at various nursing homes, hospitals and clinics for 25 years before being injured at work and retiring in 1991.
Gil loved her grandchildren fiercely and enjoyed spending time with them. There was nothing she loved more than watching them grow up.
Gil is survived by her spouse, Richard; daughters, Ashley (Tom) Moore and Meegan Krenz; grandchildren, Cade (Emma) Moore, Rowan Krenz and Brady Krenz; and siblings, Greg (Jolene) Westerman, Griffin (Tina) Westerman and Greta Anderson. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Gilbert; infant daughter; and sister, Glenda Gnatzig-Fitch.
A funeral service will be held at BLACKHAWK CHURCH, 9620 Brader Way, Middleton, at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 7, 2025. Visitation will be held at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
