LODI - Alan Blaise Kroll, age 64, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2025, at Agrace HospiceCare.


He was born on September 15, 1960, in Park Ridge, IL, the son of Duane and Janet (Dunisch) Kroll. Al graduated from Northland High School Class of 1979. Al worked as a foreman for Rural Masonry for over 30 years.


He was a huge NASCAR fan; his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. He always cheered for the Green Bay Packers and loved to laugh and have a good time.


Alan is survived by his life partner, Deb Bernards; his children, Summer (Jeremiah) Huston, Ryan (Loria) Kroll, and Katie Knapp; grandchildren, Amerra, Aubree, Jeremiah, Aiden, Catarina, Scarlet, Isabella and Julian; mother, Janet Kroll; three brothers, Brian Kroll, Kevin (Heidi) Kroll, and Garin (Melanie) Kroll; nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Kroll.


A celebration of Alan's life will be held later this summer.

We were married in 1998. Al was so full of adventure. Such a fun person. I hope he had a peaceful transition. He'll always have a special place in my Heart. "Just remember Al I should have gone to Subway!" RIP!

I just learned of Alan's passing from his Mom... we grew up a couple of houses from each other and played outside, did crazy stuff, and went to Jr. High and High School together. Prayers for his family and friends.
