MADISON / FOX LAKE - Arthur Ostrander, age 73, of Fox Lake, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. He was born on January 27, 1951, in Madison.
Arthur attended Madison East High School and joined the U.S. Marines in 1969. He served during the Vietnam War and was a member of VFW Post No. 7591.
Arthur loved his daughters, and enjoyed teaching his grandchildren to fish and appreciate football. His family quickly grew to 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and he cherished the time spent and memories created with them. Arthur was an avid Packers fan, and he enjoyed bowling, camping and fishing. Later in life, he learned how to Ball Room dance.
Arthur is survived by his daughters, Peggy (Kevin) Parman and Rebecca (Jeff) Van Den Bergh and Carissa (Andy) Long; 16 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Margaret and Delmar Rikli; daughter, Heather Ostrander; brother, Donald Ostrander; and sister, Kathy Morgan.
