Steven Andrew Hall
January 28, 1999 - January 11, 2025
Obituary
STOUGHTON - Steven Andrew Hall, age 25, beloved son, grandson, nephew, passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2025, due to injuries he sustained in a one car vehicle accident.
Steven was born on January 28, 1999, to his parents Russell and Donna Hall. Steven attended the Kids Korner Day Care and then the Evansville School District and then graduated in June of 2017.
Anyone who knew Steve knew he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He lived each day showing kindness to everyone who encountered him. If you happened to catch him after work, he was probably with his brother or another coworker on their way to help a friend with any number of projects, or having a beer, revisiting their work day and discussing what went well and what needed to be improved. He was passionate about his job and really loved working as a pool and spa service tech at Recreational Concepts. His coworkers there were his second family. On the weekends though, you were most likely to find Steve at home with his brother relaxing and enjoying some down time.
Anyone who met Steve became his friend. He had that kind of personality, his smile was sweet and sometimes mischievous. He loved going out on the trails on his snowmobile in the winter and being out on the water in the summer. Steve went by many nicknames…School, Cheeto, Scuba Steve, Dawg, Cheeto Puff. It doesn’t matter how you addressed him, if you met him, he left a lasting memory. Those who were lucky enough to know Steve will always have a part of him with them and he will live on forever through them.
Steven is survived by his parents, mother, Donna Hall; father, Russell Hall; older brother, Dale Hall; twin brother, Anthony Hall; nephew, Griffin Hall; grandparents, Cletus and Charlene McCartney; along with some aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparent, Ralph and Angeline Hall; and his uncle, Kenneth Hall.
A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON OREGON FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 1150 Park St., Oregon, from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Monday, January 20, 2025. Following the visitation, a celebration of life with food and refreshments will be held at the RED BARN, 7530 North County Road M, Evansville.
