Obituary

OAK CREEK - Christian Allen Caldwell, age 27, of Oak Creek, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 11, 2025. He was born on December 24, 1997, in La Mesa, Calif., the son of Larry Caldwell and Patricia “Jamie” (Caudell) Slagle.


Christian graduated from Central High School in Paddock Lake in 2016. He married Sabrina Wolff on May 4, 2024, in Madison. He worked as a CAD technician for HySafe in Union Grove.


Christian enjoyed cooking for others and was a big fan of Scooby Doo. He was always up for watching a movie and had an extensive movie collection. He could often be found reading or playing video games, gardening, playing guitar, and he enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels and Lego.


Christian was a caretaker by nature and was always willing to help others. He will be remembered as a practical joker, especially when it came to his mother. Christian loved his pets, and he leaves behind his Husky, River, and his cat, Eevee.


Christian is survived by his wife, Sabrina; parents, Patricia “Jamie” (Gary) Slagle and Larry (Lynda) Caldwell; sister, Amanda Caldwell; brother, Ryan Slagle; two stepsisters, Shaliko (Chris) Winchell and Shyann Harry; stepbrother, Richard Nash; nephew, Stefan "Bubby" Garcia; niece, Brelia-Ann Molloy; parents-in-law, Kim and John Wolff; sisters-in-law, Samantha Wolff and Erin Wolff; paternal step grandfather, Orville Slagle, Sr.; paternal great-grandmother, Cleota Caldwell; and uncle, Tobby Caudell. He is further survived by several other relatives and countless friends.


He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Janice and Jim Weedman; paternal grandparents, Linda and Larry Caldwell; paternal step grandmother, Cleo Slagle; uncle, Jamie Caldwell; and his Golden Retriever, Daisy.


A visitation will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, from 12 noon until 3 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2025.
