Obituary

ROME/LODI - Rudy L. Schiller, age 80, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on June 26, 1944, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, the son of Rudolph and Marion (Rozek) Schiller.


After graduating from Waukesha South High School in 1963, he attended UW-Whitewater but

interrupted his studies to marry his high school sweetheart, Marsha “Marti” Moses on

April 4, 1964.  Rudy then completed his education earning his degree at Waukesha County

Technical College.  He was last employed as an Electronical Engineer with St. Mary’s Hospital and retired in 2010 after many years.  After retirement, Rudy and Marti enjoyed traveling and spending time in the southern states at various State and National Parks.  Rudy was an avid outdoorsman who liked hunting, fishing, any lake activity, and camping.


In addition to Marti, his wife of 60 years, survivors include his son, Adam (Kristina) Schiller of Lodi, WI; his daughter-in-law, Linda Schiller of Watertown, WI; and his grandchildren, Michael and Amelia Schiller of Lodi, WI, Leah (Ashton) Howard of Washington state, and David Schiller of Washington state, as well as many other family members.  He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Schiller; his parents, Rudolph and Marion Schiller; his sisters, Carol Banks and Rita Wendt; his brothers, Fred Schiller and Michael Schiller, as well as other members of his extended family.


In honor of Rudy’s wishes, no services will be held.  A celebration of life will be held in the spring.
