It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our precious Taliyah, lovingly known as "Meemaw" by those who adored her. On December 27, 2024, our vivacious little girl gained her angel wings, leaving an everlasting imprint on all who were blessed to know her.

Taliyah was the brightest light, full of energy, and commanded the room. Her radiant personality could light up the darkest space, and her laughter was a melody that will forever echo in our hearts. She had a unique way of making everyone she encountered fall in love with her.

She adored dancing, singing her favorite songs, playing with her cousins, modeling for pictures, and made lasting friendships everywhere she went. She loved her dolls and was a perfect princess in her sparkly dresses and tiaras. Her favorite meals were simple, yet special: instant noodles, chicken nuggets, and she especially loved Happy Meals. Though her time with us was brief, she taught us the true meaning of unconditional love, joy, and resilience.

Taliyah leaves behind her loving parents, Seng Sai Thao and Maikaying Vang, and her adoring siblings, Titus, Trinity, Tyra, Tatum, and Teagan, along with her doting paternal grandparents, Nao Nhia Thao and Mai Zoua Vang, maternal grandparents, Cha Ger Vang and Sue Vue, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who cherished her deeply.

While our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that she is now surrounded by light and love in Heaven.

A celebration of Taliyah’s beautiful life will be held on February 15, 2025, from 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM at Gunderson Funeral Home, 1150 Park St., Oregon, WI 53575.
